"Planted in 2016 in the lower Pisgah block. Dry, fermented in stainless steel and bottled in March of 2023. 400 case production. Single block varietal. 2023 NC Fine Wines Gold Medal Winner. The grapes are cane pruned and trained on a Single Vine Position (SVP)Trellis system. This vinifera is grown primarily in Austria and ripens mid-October. Grüner Veltliner is a new varietal in North Carolina.”
