"Planted in 2016 in the middle Pisgah block. Dry, fermented in American Oak Barrels and bottled in March of 2023. 250 case production. Chardonel , an American hybrid grape, is a cross between Seyval and Chardonay. 2023 NC Fine Wines Gold Medal Winner. The grapes are grown on a Geneva Double Curtain (GDC) Trellis system. This trellis allows the vigorous vines to achieve balance and produce superior grapes.”
